The results have now been published for the first annual Karen Brown Readers’ Choice Awards. Our thanks to all of you who took the time to cast your votes and help honor the deserving recipients.

We now invite you to participate in the Karen Brown Readers' Choice Awards for 2008. Your votes will be used to award exceptional Karen Brown Recommended Hotels and Bed & Breakfasts.

Please vote so your favorite properties receive special recognition. You can vote for one favorite in each category in each country.

Your vote matters to us and so as an added incentive, for every four votes that you cast, you will receive by email a coupon that will entitle you to a 25% discount off any Karen Brown Guide or Downloadable Itinerary. (Note: Discounts afforded by Karen Brown Memberships will apply on top of the 25% discount.) You can vote for one property in each category (Greatest Value, Most Romantic, Warmest Welcome, Splendid Splurge) for each country for which we have a published title. Potentially earn up to 17 discount coupons. Only one coupon can be applied per order. Discount coupons will be issued for any and all votes cast before June 1, 2008.

After all the votes are tallied, one winner will be chosen for each award category in each country. The 2008 award recipients will be published in the fall of this year both on our website and in the 2009 editions of our guides (which will be available in September and October 2008). As soon as the 2008 awards are published, we will open up the voting platform for 2009.

To get started, choose a category from the list below, and click submit. You will then be asked to enter the name of the property that you want to vote for. Depending on how specific and accurate you are with your search entry you will then be provided with a list of possible matches. At this point select the property desired or refine your search. Once your vote is cast, you will have the opportunity to start again and vote for yet another favorite in another category or in an all-together different country.
