Destination Weddings in Umbria are becoming very popular, but it can be difficult to find a really special location for an Intimate Small Wedding, a private Historic House, just for friends and family with an extra special touch that set the venue apart from the rest.

If you are looking for something out of the ordinary for your wedding day, please consider the Historic House Le Logge di Silvignano in Spoleto, Umbria.

The Historic House Le Logge di Silvignano is one of the most significant examples of Medieval architecture in the Spoleto County. Built from the X to the XV Century it is listed by the Italian Ministry for the Arts and Environment.

Set on the hills of Spoleto in a marvelous landscape of countless olive trees, Le Logge di Silvignano has a panoramic Garden with Pool overlooking the Umbrian Valley and the sunset.

The 5000 sqm Garden is ideally divided in two parts. The one on the House front was once the old “hortus”, now with two centuries-old fig trees, in the shade of which is possible to set aperitifs or candle light dinner with the XV Century Loggia illuminated. The main part of the garden is surrounded by big oak, elms and olive trees, and over 200 plants among lavender, rosemary, thyme, myrtle, abelia, cartegus, broom and pomegranate, and more than 50 different kind of rose.

The Pool is located in the most panoramic but reserved part of the garden, sunny from sunrise to sunset, equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, and areas in the shade.A Terrace with a breathtaking view is also available.

Le Logge di Silvignano can host in total 20 or 22 persons in 10 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, furnished to the highest standard. Wedding Party Reception for maximum 40 persons.

If your Wedding party exceeds 22 person we can arrange for some of your Guest to stay in nearby historic houses or country houses we recommend.

For hosting a Intimate Small Wedding party the House has to be rented in exclusivity.

This magical castle tucked away in the hills in a charming medieval village is truly an experience you will never forget. The hosts, Alberto and Dianna are very helpful, charming, and welcoming. The original tower in the hotel is from the 10th century and you feel like you have travled through time to a storybook land. The trees bear delicious black prunes and surrounding area is kind of place you come and never want to leave.

We were two very weary, elderly travelers who arrived at Logge di Silvignano just as the sun was setting. Frazzled by a travel day that included driving a rental car out of Rome, trying, but never finding the fountains of Tivoli, and three hours of being lost in the hills above Spoleto, we were exhausted.
