Overview:
Killarney, an idyllic place in the southwest of Ireland is famed for its natural beauty; with its forests, lakes and majestic mountains, it is truly a natural treasure. The house is licensed to hold civil marriage ceremonies. It is ideal for small weddings. A typical wedding booking here at Coolclogher House includes a week house rental. Caterers can be brought in to cater the weddings at extra cost. The house itself cannot cater for larger weddings, however a marquee can be erected on the grounds to accommodate the larger numbers.
The Ceremony:
Guests can get married on the grounds or get married in one of the many beautiful local churches in the area and hold the reception at the house.
All Paper work regarding the ceremony itself must go though the Killarney registrar Mrs O' Shea. She then will carry out the ceremony at Coolclogher House. We are happy to discuss your wedding plans and offer any advice or help
The Reception:
Receptions for up to 20 people can be held in the house itself and a caterer will be brought in to cook for an extra fee or for larger receptions a marquee can be erected.

I have returned to the Coolclogher House four times since I first visited shortly after it opened in 2001, and each time it becomes harder for me to leave than the last. Hi there everybody, I would just like to recommend this place that I visited in Ireland earlier this year. I came over from the States with my family on a four week stay at Cooclogher House, and I can honestly say it was the best holiday ever. Everybody was so nice and friendly, we had some great chats with Mary and Maurice who really made me feel so welcome!!! The house and grounds are really gorgeous.
