Situated in the picturesque village of Lacock, At The Sign of the Angel is the perfect setting for the more intimate wedding.

We are fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies so you can exchange your vows, as well as holding your wedding reception with us.  At The Sign of the Angel is a quintessential medieval English Inn.  Always relaxed and comfortable there are log fires, oak paneled walls, low beams and squeaky floorboards.

Our three medieval dining rooms with a seating capacity of up to 50 for a Wedding Lunch or Dinner, are the ideal environment to celebrate your special occasion.  Food is prepared by the family chefs and is a homemade delight featuring locally grown seasonal produce.

We are also able to provide accommodation for you and your guests and have nine double rooms (4 superior and 5 standard) and two twin rooms.  All have en-suite bathrooms and are furnished with antiques collected by the family over the years including one with a Four Poster bed and another with the enormous ‘Brunel’ bed (once owned by the great engineer Isombard Kingdom Brunel).

At The Sign of the Angel’s Sitting Room is fully licensed to hold civil ceremonies for up to 25 people for the more intimate ceremony.
