My wife and I stayed at B&B Casa Ciriani for several days and what a wonderful time we had. Our hostess, Silvana, and her mother were very attentive and were a wealth of information for the surrounding area. They made us feel like we were relatives rather than travelers. Clean, bright and cheery rooms, sumptuous breakfasts and rates that can’t be beat. Would we go back again? Not only would we, WE ARE.

This was actually our second stay at Casa Ciriani. The photo in the KB guide doesn’t do justice to the elegant house or its beautiful garden. In addition to the excellent accommodation, you get the warm welcome and knowledgeable advice of Silvana, amiable proprietor. She is a gold mine of information about the area; and she is extremely generous with her time, helping with maps and suggestions for sights and restaurants. This B&B is an fantastically good value.

I spent a most memorable, delightful day at Casa Ciriani. The Ciriani's make you feel like a beloved member of the family. If I were to describe our stay briefly it would be genuine conversation, rigorous laughter with the best food I ever ate. The day ended with a comfortable bed surrounded by a quiet stillness rare for being in a small city anywhere. Upon return to Italy, Casa Ciriani will be my destiny of choice.

Our stay at Casa Ciriana was a highlight on our recent trip to northern Italy. Even in late autumn the house was warm and inviting. We had such fun. Every morning Silvana and her mother had a conversation with us that eventually included:“What are you doing today?” and then led on to numerous helpful suggestions “you must see… and do try the … at ….”. and importantly, there was also vital advice about how to get there and back and where to park the car. We left the house each day with an itinerary that took account of our interests and copious maps, brochures and booklets. It was like having your own personal travel agent.

For students of Italian wanting to try out their language skills like us, Silvana and her mum are very happy to talk informally for as long as you want.

We were very grateful to Silvana and her mother for their very real interest in enhancing our Italian experience. They were very generous and open in sharing their home and way of life.

We have to go back!!

We spent a month travelling all over Italy and stayed in several B & B's spread all over the country.
I would like to say that from the moment we arrived at Casa Ciriani we were made to feel that we were the most important and the most special guests that had ever stayed there.
On arrival, on the desk in the foyer, an atlas was opened to the map of Australia. Just a small thing, but again made us feel special. We felt like we were part of the family.
Nothing was too much trouble.
Silvana assisted with maps, timetables, sugestions (very much appreciated) of where to go and what to see, the best times to see them and the most productive order to visit them.
Silvana also gave wonderful restaurant sugestions both local and further afield.
The hospitality, helpfulness and friendship shown by Silvana and Antonia was second to none.
When we revisit Italy, Casa Ciriani will be the first place we head for.
Well done ladies!!!!!!!!!
