We had a wonderful stay at Antica Dimora during the first week of August. Of course, the city is quite hot at that time of year, but the air conditioned rooms were a blessing! The B&B is conveniently located a short walk from all the major attractions, just far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, but close enough for easy walks to attractions, meals, etc. Breakfast was simple but very tasty, and the help at the desk was top-notch! They were very willing to give us advise for restaurants and even arranged for a taxi on the morning of our departure. Highly recommend Antica Dimora if your travels bring you to Florence.

We recently visited Florence and had the opportunity to stay at the delightful Antica Dimora Firenze! Our room was inviting, large, and bright with a comfortable bed, nice linens and a very large shower. It also had a small balcony that overlooks some rooftop patios and gardens. We really enjoyed the location in a Florentine neighborhood and a block away from San Marco which is a gem and must see. The gracious hostess/receptionist at the hotel provided excellent recommendations for things to see that are traditional Florentine and very nice restaurants that were unique and non-tourist. Florence is a beautiful city and Antica Dimora Firenze does everything to help you have a beautiful holiday!

Our room was beautifully decorated, looking out on a sunny peaceful courtyard behind the building. It was a quiet retreat to come home to after walking the city each day. We also enjoyed taking a bottle of wine to the terrace at the sister property, Antica Johlea, just down the street. The service was excellent and attentive. They made dinner reservations for us (and checked to see whether we had enjoyed the meal) and suggested places to see. Hotel is a 20 minute brisk walk from the Uffizi, so close enough to everything but economically priced.
