The original wine cellar at Hotel Cavallino d’Oro, built 700 years ago, has been transformed into a small wellness centre with Finnish sauna, Solarium and Roman Steam Bath for the enjoyment of our guests.

Castelrotto is by far the most beautiful town in the Dolomites and I think Cavallino d’Oro is the loveliest hotel in this town. We had two rooms, one with an amazing view of the Dolomites from our deck and the other an incredible view of the church steeple from our sunroof. The decor was charming, the rooms were tastefully decorated. The food in the dining room was excellent but the atmosphere was a bit stuffy.
