Christmas Morning Bismarck

Our family jokes that we have many "non-traditional traditions" that we celebrate over the holidays. One Christmas morning tradition is that presents come first. After an hour or so of gift opening, we're starving! My sister and I always prepare these breakfast treats for the family.

Instructions :

Preheat oven to 475º.  Place butter in large pie pan to melt.  Mix milk, flour and eggs in mixing bowl.  Once butter is melted, pour batter into pan and bake for 12 minutes.  Remove Bismarck from the pan, pour some melted butter from pan on top of Bismarck, sprinkle with powder sugar and serve.  Makes 1 Bismarck (but it’s a big one!).
