The restaurant at ’La Locanda del Castello’ is located in the oldest part of the building, just a few steps away from the walls surrounding the Castle.
Was formed within the medieval Olive Press Room and many original features have been preserved, including the brick architraves. The decor is stylish, with antique furniture pieces, copper pots and interesting antique pieces displayed on the walls and warm colors that welcome you as you enter. It offers its guests the genuine flavors of old Tuscan recipes.
Among its delicious specialties are the local prestigious white truffle, pecorino cheese, prosciutto and salami of the Siena region, Montalcino honey and saffron. The A La Carte Menu is extensive. In addition we offer Special Tasting Menus during periods such as the Truffle Festival in November or Christmas and New Year. There is an extensive wine list, including wines from Chianti, Montalcino and Montepulciano, to meet the most sophisticated of tastes.
In the warmer weather, one can eat outside on the terrace overlooking the small hamlet square, enjoying the atmosphere of the old village, or alternately in the comfort and shade of the back terrace. We are happy to cater for groups of up to 40 people with Tasting Menus specially designed for each group upon request.

The Florentine-Style Steak –aprox. 1.8 kg. = 3.98 lb. – with Grilled Vegetables ( minimum for two persons) Price for each 100 grams=0.22 lb.
