La Stüa de Michil

Our 1 Michelin star awarded gourmet restaurant. The original wood paneled Tyrolean stuben offers a cozy yet elegant venue for dining. Great value is given to quality food as our kitchen, using up to 80% of local, biological and fair trade products, is a revisited local/Italian kitchen. Our chef Arturo Spicocchi offers many of his own creations.

Arturo Spicocchi was born in Ascoli Piceno on December 11th, 1969. After having graduated at the regional professional school for hôtellerie of Ascoli Piceno, he remained in his beloved hometown working at the “Gallo d’Oro” restaurant. The regional jump to South Tyrol initially happened with  seasonal work at the hotel “Adler” in Ortisei. Once he concluded the season in Val Gardena, he crossed the Gardena pass in 1994 reaching the Alta Badia and the Hotel La Perla in Corvara. After some years of work, he became chef at the restaurant “La Stüa de Michil”.
