The Presidents’ Restaurant & Turner Room

Chef William trained under Master Chef Raymond Blanc at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, a two-Michelin-star restaurant where the menu is described as having ‘a twist of imaginative genius’. William has brought that twist to Ireland’s south-western corner, where ingredients such as pork, lamb, woodcock, snipe, salmon, honey and oriental greens come straight from the estate. Even our water comes from our own wells. Homemade artisan food products, such as liqueurs, apple brandy, patés, chutneys, vacuum-packed smoked salmon, spices, jams and preserves are all made on site and available for you to take away to enjoy.

Midweek Dining Each Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday night, William pre-chooses and with the help of his team creates and delivers to you a seven-course tasting menu, focusing on the days freshest ingredients. Menu price €65 per person. In addition to the tasting menu, William has created a new, a la carte "Chefs Specials" menu for guests who wish to dine lightly or who like to choose for themselves. Menu price €40 per person for three courses. We also offer alternatives to Vegetarians & Vegans and will happily accommodate with a little notice guests with special dietary requirements such as diabetics, gluten free diets and guests with food allergies. This menu is served at 8.00pm. Guests are advised to arrive at least half an hour earlier to allow time for a pre dinner apperitif and to make their wine selection.

Closed days: Hotel & restaurant are closed Mondays & Tuesdays throughour 2010. Hotel & Restaurant will open on these days however for residential groups of 24 guests or more. Open for traditional Sunday luncheon 1.00 - 2.30pm weekly. Booking essential. Open for snack luncheon in bar area, Wednesdays, Thirsdays, Fridays & Satudays 1.00pm - 6.00pm.
