Pacific Northwest
Washington
Overview:
Washington, geographically, is a diverse state with the area west of the Cascade mountain Range being one of verdant forests, nurtured by the marine climate of the Pacific Ocean. The center of the state is covered by the rugged Cascades with a number of active volcanoes, the most recent to erupt being Mount St. Helens. Directly east of the Cascades is a semi desert region with little rainfall and as one travels farther east the landscape becomes less arid. The majority of the tourism and travel in the state is centered around the waterways along the coast, particularly the wonderful city of Seattle, the magnificent forests of the Olympic Peninsula, the beauty of the Cascades and the wine regions of Walla Walla and the Yakima Valley.
Wonderful hotels, inns, bed and breakfasts and boutique hotes are included in our list of Washington Hotels . These lodging accommodations will contribute to lasting memories of your trip to Washington.| Map Key & Preference Settings: | ||||||||||||||
