Norway
Southern Norway
Overview:
Southern Norway is a pearl of beautiful islands and skerries. From its sunny coastline to its long plains, deep valleys, tall mountains, pine forests and spectacular fjords, it's no wonder that it's is the first choice for a holiday destination. Visitors are often suprised at how different this region can be from their expectations as the summer temperatures often rise into the 80's. The coast has hundreds of islands with excellent opportunities for boating and fishing. Small-secluded beaches lie on these islands which you can only get to by boat, but it's not only known for the coastline, the inland area offers hiking, canoeing, and large mountains to enjoy some beautiful climbing. Southern Norway really has something to offer for everyone.
