Hungary

Hungary

Overview:

The castles, manors and city hotels of Hungary offer some of the most hospitable and finest accomodations in all of Europe. Many of these hotels have been rescued from the destructive forces of age and war as well as the indifference of Communism.

Tourism in Hungary has been on the rise and for good reason. The history, people, architecture and landscape of Hungary are all compelling reasons for a visit. Budapest, located on the Danube, is one of the most beautiful capital cities in Europe and is also included on UNESCO's World Heritage list.

Hungary has been a member of the European Union since 2004 allowing for easier access between other European Unioun members. Hungary still uses the Forint (HUF) and not the Euro as the national currency.
