Karen's Review Of This Property:
The location of the Maison Fleurie is superb—a short walk from the heart of the quaint town of Yountville. The inn (with a look of the French countryside) is a cluster of thick stone and brick buildings, entrancingly draped with ivy. From the moment you enter, the mood is conducive to a carefree holiday. You come into a parlor-like foyer with a corner fireplace, sofa, and chairs. When you begin to wonder if this is a hotel, you notice a discreet reception desk in the room beyond. To the right, a few steps lead down to an inviting sitting room. The price of the bedrooms depends upon size. The most spacious rooms are found in the Bakery Building and feature king-sized beds, fireplaces, spa tubs, and DVD players. Rooms 8 and 9 enjoy French windows that open up to the garden and the pool. Carriage House, a delightful 2 bedroom cottage has room 13, overlooking the street, and room 12 bordering the pool. Maison Fleurie offers many extras: a hearty breakfast, wine and hors d’oeuvres in the late afternoon, cold and hot drinks and cookies all day. The morning paper, bathrobes, turn-down service, and the use of bicycles are additional amenities. Tucked into the courtyards behind the inn are a swimming pool and a hot tub. The Bouchon Bakery and Restaurant are just round the corner. A Four Sisters Inn.
