Chateau de Vie Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Chateau de Vie is a delightful hideaway—a small pseudo French country château surrounded by vineyards just to the north of Calistoga. Wine, cheese and hors d’oeuvres are enjoyed on the back deck for most of the year, and in winter fireside in the sitting room. If you are feeling energetic hop into the pool or take a walk through the surrounding vineyards. Relax, under the stars, in the secluded Jacuzzi tub at the edge of the vineyard. After waking up to the coffee or tea that arrives outside your door in the morning, mosey down to the handsome dining room with its forest-green walls and large window seat or to the back deck for a gourmet repast of fresh-baked scones and fruit followed by a cooked breakfast that will equip you for a full day of sightseeing. All of the guestrooms overlook the pretty garden and are appealingly decorated in bold colors and textures. We loved the spaciousness and privacy of our top-floor room.

We loved our one night stay at Chateau de Vie and wish we could have stayed longer. It is beautiful and first class in every way. We would recommend it to everyone that wants a quiet, gracious and extremely comfortable accommodation.
