Karen's Review Of This Property:
Overlooking the awe-inspiring, 268-foot Snoqualmie Falls, Salish Lodge & Spa is positively extravagant. This place is stunning, with an interior designed like a private luxury vacation home. All bedrooms are classified deluxe and are handsomely decorated in woodsy tones of brown, black, red, and gold. Woodwork is custom-made and floors combine slate with lush carpets in Native American patterns. All rooms offer wood-burning fireplaces; as well as whirlpool tubs for two, Aveda toiletries, deep, feather beds, and . . . a pillow menu. Really. They've got pillows for pregnant women, pillows for bad backs, eye pillows, lavender pillows, buckwheat pillows—just ask. In the mornings, enjoy a guided walking tour down to the base of the falls, sacred ground to the Native Americans who once lived here. The Spa is a thoroughly tranquil spot, where Japan meets the Northwest in architectural beauty. Choose from two restaurants, both of which offer terrific views of the falls and surrounds. Our only word of caution is that Snoqualmie Falls is the second most popular tourist spot in Washington, so Salish can feel crowded in the public areas and restaurants, especially in summer months.
