Karen's Review Of This Property:
The Lost Mountain Lodge sits in perfect harmony with its environment at the edge of the Olympic National Park. The gray-blue shingled building is surrounded by 9 lovely acres of trees, meadows, and ponds—a haven for both guests and wildlife. The interior is lovely: huge windows and an open-plan design with a vaulted ceiling give a sense of space and light. Furnishings are tasteful and of the highest quality and the color scheme brings the outdoors inside. The complimentary hot & cold beverage center in the kitchen is always open to guests. In a morning a gourmet hot breakfast is served (continental is also available for lighter eaters) along with lattes, mochas and cappuccinos. The adult-only suites in the main lodge are sophisticated and luxurious. All have king beds, European duvets, sitting areas, wood-burning fireplaces, and excellent bathrooms. The Moonbeam enjoys large skylights in a vaulted ceiling, The Creekside has a wonderful spa-like bathroom, and The Sunnyview boasts a charming window-seat alcove. Out on the deck overlooking the ponds and waterfall, a hydrotherapy spa offers many different massage options. Two hundred yards from the main lodge building, The Hideaway on Quail Lake offers luxurious isolation overlooking the Lodge's private lake. Child-friendly guesthouses offer well-equipped, self-catering accommodation.
