Karen's Review Of This Property:
If you're looking for the convenience of staying right in the heart of Port Angeles, you could do no better than to book into the Five SeaSuns where your hosts will give you a very cordial welcome. Built in 1926, this Dutch Colonial has been carefully renovated and filled with period furnishings. The living room is light and comfortable with a large gas fireplace and French doors leading out to a columned pergola, where guests like to sit and listen to the waterfall splashing into the fishpond. Guests eat a full, cooked breakfast by candlelight around one large table in the dining room. Bedrooms, all with en suite baths, are named for the seasons (the fifth is Indian Summer) and vary in decor. In the main house they have floral wallpaper and are furnished with antiques such as a brass bed or a marble-topped dressing table. Summer, on the ground floor, has a private porch and a Jacuzzi bath; Winter is the largest room and enjoys a deep soaking tub original to the house; Spring is a small room with a private balcony; Autumn has a lovely view of mountains and water. Indian Summer is a carriage house suite with a modern rustic look. The half-acre of gardens are a delight to sit or stroll in (they will even make you smile): by the roadside you'll find upside-down trees with their roots cascading flowers.
