The Deerhill Inn sits perched high on a hill with breathtaking views of the Haystack and Mount Snow ski areas. The cozy downstairs sitting room is shared by non-resident guests coming for dinner but there is an upstairs living room that’s reserved for inn guests. Decorating here is done with flair with each room enjoying its own distinct style. Waverly Fabrics chose one of Deerhill’s bedrooms as the Room of the Year. The inn has 14 guestrooms, a restaurant, beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. All bedrooms, five with king beds, have private baths, and most have access to a balcony or private deck. Seven rooms feature fireplaces, and whirlpool tubs. The Garden Suite has two rooms a sitting room with fireplace and a whirlpool tub tucked into a romantic alcove. The Orchid room has a queen canopied bed with mosquito netting; boasts a loft and is decorated with an Oriental theme. The restaurant presents imaginative modern American cuisine featuring seasonally fresh local ingredients in a charming dining room with a fireplace, hand-painted murals, and spectacular views.
