Rancho Valencia Resort is a luxurious Relais & Châteaux hotel tucked away in the hills above Rancho Santa Fe minutes from the picturesque seaside town of Del Mar. This secluded hideaway offers privacy, relaxation, and recreation on a very intimate scale. Sports enthusiasts love it here, for the resort has 18 tennis courts and privileges at exclusive private golf clubs. Spa enthusiasts adore the new spa which offers an expansive choice of skin care, facials and sensual couples treatments. Garden paths bordered by an abundance of flowers wind through the grounds to the 26 casitas scattered throughout the property. One is a luxurious three-bedroom home while the rest are either spacious studios or suites. All have cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, lovely fireplaces, plantation-shuttered windows, and French doors leading to private garden patios. The heart of the property is the clubhouse with its central courtyard patios overflowing with flowering plants. Rancho Valencia’s signature restaurant offers casual, elegant dining inside and alfresco dining on the tiered terrace overlooking the tennis courts and the valley.
