Just steps away from the boutiques, bistros and beaches that comprise the essence of La Jolla the palm fronted, stone faced Hotel Parisi is a real find. A sweeping staircase leads up to the spacious reception area, accentuated by an Italianate column water feature. It’s comfy seating and large fireplace with impressive carved-iron surround make this a perfect place to linger with coffee and newspapers on those rare cool southern California mornings. Continental breakfast is served in Piccolo Parisi Breakfast Room just off the lobby. The hotel occupies the entire second floor (an elevator takes you to and from private parking on the ground floor) and is comprised of twenty-one luxurious suites, all furnished on an almost minimalist modern theme and decorated in warm earthtones.
