Karen's Review Of This Property:
The Penn’s View Hotel is a nice, affordable alternative to the hustle and bustle of a mid-town hotel and is conveniently located just three blocks from Independence National Park. Remembering my own visit to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall decades ago, I would say that a visit to these historic structures is a must for young children, who will find the park rangers’ stories fascinating and instructive. The hotel’s bedrooms all have private baths and a nice Continental breakfast is available from early in the morning in the dining room. My room at the hotel was extra large, with a king bed, desk, small conference table, and gas fireplace. I missed having a comfortable chair and a good reading light as an alternative to sitting in bed. The marble bathroom was huge and had the longest spa tub with shower that I’d ever seen. Next to the inn in the same building is the Panorama restaurant with the “largest wine bar in the world”—a unique experience.
