Karen's Review Of This Property:
Fourteen miles east of Gettysburg in the town of Hanover sits the Beechmont Inn whose seven bedrooms provide comfort to the traveler visiting the area and whose genial hosts make sure that the visit is a pleasant one. Tom and Kathryn, originally from the gracious midwest, St. Louis, Missouri, moved here to take over the Beechmont Inn. Kathryn is redecorating each room, one by one, and with each completion the inn reflects more and more her elegance and refined taste. I loved the Garden Gate Suite, warmed in colors of soft green and salmon, whose entrance is either off the inn entry or by a private door off the back porch shaded by a gorgeous and mature magnolia tree. Many of the rooms boast fireplaces. Six of the inn’s bedrooms have adjoining private baths, while one has its private bath down the hall. The hosts provide a full breakfast and there is a guest refrigerator with bottled water and soft drinks. The library has many interesting books for browsing, a selection of games to play, and a help-yourself cookie jar. Tom and Kathryn have taken up residence in the back Carriage House. They are nearby, attentive hosts, and sincere in their wish that your stay will be a memory that lingers joyously.
