Karen's Review Of This Property:
Rick and Laura are the owners of this very special country inn. They extend a wonderful welcome and when you step into one of the guestrooms, you’ll feel perfectly at home. There are five bedrooms in the main house, four rooms and two suites in the Carriage House, and four rooms in the Springhouse. The Carriage House deluxe rooms have soaring ceilings, ancient, hand-carved beams reflecting their barn origins, and doors which open to decks and views of quiet rolling countryside including a distant pond glimpsed through trees. Wing chairs by the fireplace beckon you to sit and read and the king canopy bed assures you of a good night’s sleep. The Fairville Inn is the embodiment of elegant comfort. The innkeepers serve a full breakfast with a choice of hot entrées each morning and an afternoon tea. The Fairville Inn is a great stopping point for an extended stay in the Brandywine Valley, being centrally located for a lot of sightseeing. There’s great natural beauty in the surrounding towns and driving with no particular destination is very fulfilling. Close by are the Winterthur Museum, the Brandywine River Museum, Longwood Gardens, and the Hagley Museum.
