Karen's Review Of This Property:
Enjoying 7 acres of woodlands and gardens, Cromwell Manor Inn, one of New York’s top ten inns, is an imposing structure with great columns fronting its brick façade; sits high on a hill with a spectacular view of the Hudson Highlands and offers twelve guestrooms with private baths in two buildings. The Manor House is elegantly furnished with period antiques and fine reproductions. On the entry level you find the living room and the dining room where guests are served a full gourmet breakfast. The Chimney’s Cottage, built in 1764, offers romantic bedrooms with a more rustic country decor. The mansion’s original owner’s ancestors can be traced back to England’s Oliver Cromwell. There’s much to do in this area: West Point, for example, is just 5 miles away and many other historical sites, such as the homes of the Roosevelts and the Vanderbilts, are nearby—and there’s always antiquing, the wineries, world-class shopping at Woodbury Common Premium Outlet Center, and all sorts of sporting activities.
