Yankee Clipper Inn Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Perched on the ledges above the ocean about an hour north of Boston airport sits the Yankee Clipper Inn, its two buildings housing the guest accommodations (which include three suites), nicely separated from one another by landscaping and by the rolling terrain. Most of the rooms have views of the ocean through large picture windows, with comfortable chairs positioned for watching the ever-changing scenery of the seashore. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with queen, king, or full beds, and all have private baths; several have been recently updated with marble tile. Seven rooms have jetted tubs. The owners have been updating the decor of the rooms, making them even more desirable as places to unwind for several days. In the Quarterdeck house new bathrooms have been installed in four rooms, some with jetted tubs. A swimming pool is available on the property and nearby you find tennis, golf, hiking, fishing, biking, and summer theater. Rockport is a charming village with galleries, antique shops, and restaurants as well as a large community of artists who spend the summer there. This would be a great stopover for anyone headed for Maine and the upper New England coast.
