Seven Sea Street Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

There is a magic to being on the island of Nantucket and in the heart of its principal town. Stay here in a warm and cozy post-and-beam guesthouse with innkeepers who make you feel like family and it’s difficult to imagine life much better. Seven Sea Street, newly built in traditional style, is appointed with early-American furnishings combined with all the modern conveniences. The guestrooms have queen beds with fishnet canopies, TVs, telephones, small refrigerators, and all those other amenities including air conditioning that make your stay so pleasant. I stayed in a simply but comfortably furnished small suite with a separate living room. Puddy, the inn cat, made it quite evident that he intended to spend the night in my room—cats do know cat people! There’s a relaxing common room with a pot-bellied stove and a dining room with a long table on which breakfast is served. A Continental breakfast is available in your room if you don’t feel like socializing in the morning. There’s a hot tub for which you can sign up for that extra bit of relaxation. It’s just a few blocks’ walk from the inn to the ferry and to Main Street with all its fabulous architecture—don’t miss the Three Bricks mansions built by a merchant for his three sons, and the upscale shops and galleries.
