Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Brook Farm Inn has an ideal Berkshires location, within walking distance of Lenox center and Tanglewood. The main building, born a gracious Victorian home, has 12 guestrooms. The newer carriage house has 3 luxury accommodations with private entrances and decks overlooking the garden. Guests of the carriage house also enjoy amenities such as whirlpool tubs. The serene setting of the inn is of a wooded glen, with an acre of award-winning gardens, surrounding a heated in-ground pool. Upon entering you are enveloped in warm hospitality and comfortable elegance. The library, at the center of the inn, has high ceilings, antique furniture and a window seat begging you to curl up and read. There is also a wood-burning fireplace where tea and fresh scones are served each afternoon. A full breakfast is also included. On the second floor of the main building, room number 2 is richly furnished with a mahogany antique dresser, queen canopy bed, fireplace, velvet-covered wing chairs and drapes and a large bathroom. Rooms are also available with king and twin beds. A guest pantry is thoughtfully provides ice, refrigerators, hot water tap and hot beverage supplies.

Directions: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike east or west to exit 2 to Route 20 west and turn left on Route 183. At the monument in the center of Lenox go left downhill on old Stockbridge Road. Make the first right on Hawthorne Street.
