Alyce’s Dunscroft-By-The-Sea Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Just down from the white steepled church in the quaint, enchanting port town of Harwich sits the delightful Dunscroft-By-The-Sea. This two-story, wood-shingled, shuttered house is charming and beautifully decorated. To the left of the entry is a gorgeous living room with cream-colored sofas in front of a cozy brick fire near the enclosed garden porch. In the elegant dining room guests enjoy a bountiful breakfast around one large table. The inn offers eight bedrooms in the main house and one in the garden cottage which also has a living room, fireplace, and kitchen. All the rooms in the main house are lovely. I was impressed by the personalized welcome note in each room, to Robert and Elizabeth in room 1, a lovely front corner room; to Scarlett and Rhett in room 2, a larger room with king canopy bed, Jacuzzi tub, and views over the side garden; to Cleo and Anthony in room 3, a pretty front corner room; to Sonny and Cher in number 4 with Jacuzzi tub; and to Edward and Wallis in room 5 with handsome king canopy bed and corner windows overlooking the back garden. A rose theme pervades the inn, from the mailbox to the handsome wallpapers decorating many rooms.
