Powder Point Bed & Breakfast Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Founded in 1620, Duxbury is a quaint New England town and the Powder Point Bed & Breakfast is located in an exclusive residential district that populates a peninsula with easy access to bike trails and beaches. After converting a wing of their home to accommodate their children, Richard and Linda decided to offer their charming guestrooms to more than just their extended family. With its own separate entrance, guests enjoy a lovely living room, back sun porch and expanse of lawn and garden. Just off the living room, the Rose Room has a queen four-poster bed, fireplace, and a sitting area vestibule with a desk for writing postcards. There’s a cozy floral comforter inviting you to take an afternoon nap and a full bathroom. Climb the stair to the Blue and Green rooms that share a bath—ideal for family or friends traveling together. The Blue Room has a queen bed, a bureaued closet and the bath with a tub/shower combination. The Green Room has dark walnut twin beds which may be converted into a king, a fireplace and two wing chairs. Refreshments are offered afternoons and breakfast is an elegant buffet—described by the innkeepers as “an expanded continental with an European flair.” Richard and Linda encourage guests to settle in and use the accommodation as their home, to come and go as they like.
