Karen's Review Of This Property:
The historic town of Concord is one of those very special New England towns that draw the visitor in to share their past and to experience their welcoming charm. Here you find a quaint village with interesting shops, lovely old homes lining the streets, a magnificent white Unitarian church set back on the green, and on the far edge of the green a landmark inn—Concord’s Colonial Inn, built in 1716 as a family residence. It became an inn in 1889, providing cozy bars with fireplaces, a choice of dining rooms, and comfortably decorated guestrooms. Several wings have been added to the original structure, giving 56 guestrooms in the various buildings, including the Cottage and Rebecca’s Guest House. The inn reflects all the busyness of a hotel that can accommodate up to 80 for a meeting or six private room functions, but there are many places where the guest can find a quiet place to sit and enjoy the very special warmth that comes from a house that has lived so long. The bedrooms have all the amenities expected by the business traveler: concierge, voice mail, fax, wireless high speed internet access, cable TV/DVD, and laundry service. Suites with kitchenettes are perfect for extended stays.
