Karen's Review Of This Property:
Like so many of the homes along the north shore of Cape Cod, this 1780s home once belonged to a sea captain. It has now been restored to become an inn offering seven bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, although four of the room's bathrooms are located across the hall from the room—plan to use one of the inn’s robes and you’ll be all set. The bedrooms are attractively decorated in simple Cape-Cod style with comfortable, homelike furnishings. Whether you choose to relax in your bedroom or in the inn’s living room, this is an inn that has the ambiance of home, a sentiment reinforced by the innkeeper, whose gracious welcome will make you feel like a friend rather than a guest. In the morning a full breakfast is served either in the keeping room or outside on the deck with its surrounding gardens. The inn is air-conditioned for comfort in the warm summer months. Brewster has good restaurants, antique shops, and places to browse around, and is a pleasant town for walking. Here you are within an easy drive of the Cape Cod National Seashore where Atlantic Ocean beaches beckon you to stroll along their edge. Using the inn as the place for a good night’s rest, you can enjoy bird watching, nature walks, wildlife preserves, boating, swimming, bicycling, golf, tennis, and horseback riding.
