Karen's Review Of This Property:
In the countryside a little northwest of Baltimore at the end of a long, winding drive you find the Tudor-style Gramercy Mansion, set high on a hill in 45 acres, including a certified organic garden featuring herbs. There are many separate buildings on the property. As you would expect, the spacious front hall of the main home has a lovely staircase that winds upwards to the guestrooms. There are a total of ten guestrooms, many of which have king beds and enjoy fireplaces with interesting period tiles, art deco or art nouveau, and mantles of walnut or oak. Bathrooms are generous, if not huge, and many have two-person spa tubs set in marble surrounds. Guests here experience a moment from an earlier time and whether you eat in the formal dining room at tables for two or on the terrace, the style of gracious living surrounds you everywhere. Amenities include an Olympic-size pool, a tennis court, and walking trails through the woods. The Carriage House and The Mansion are reserved for weddings, parties, and seminars.
