Karen's Review Of This Property:

On a quiet residential street in Rockland sits the Berry Manor Inn, built in 1898 as an elegant residence and now a twelve-bedroom inn. The bedrooms, all large and with queen and king beds lavishly piled with mountains of pillows, are located on three floors, with four spacious and interesting accommodations in and around the eaves on the third floor. Room 1, once the boudoir for the lady of the house, is decorated in shades of moss, sage, basil, and dark quartz. It has a mahogany half-tester canopy bed, a double chaise, a working fireplace, and an attached private bath with a large two-person whirlpool tub and two shower heads. All bedrooms are equipped with individually controlled thermostats, air conditioning, fireplaces, telephones, high-speed internet access, and private luxury baths. The adjoining carriage house has been newly refurbished and provides four guest suites with spectacular bathrooms featuring whirlpool tubs and walk-in showers with body jets. Guests enjoy morning coffee in the library, a full gourmet breakfast in the large dining room at individual tables, and evening sweets (usually one of Mom’s homemade pies) are provided in the well-stocked guest pantry area.
