Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Inn at Stonington, overlooking the water in the picturesque village of Stonington, is a relative newcomer to the hospitality world but it exhibits all the features, amenities, and charm a traveler would expect in an inn with many years of experience. The living room, graciously decorated with seating areas and a fireplace has windows that capture the magic of the waterfront activity, a bar off one end and an area where breakfast is served daily as well as a nightly wine & cheese social. On the top floor guests have the use of a sitting room overlooking the harbor, and downstairs, below the bedrooms, is an exercise room. While the 18 bedrooms are individually decorated, most particularly varying in style of bed, they have in common their comfortable furnishings, seating areas, nice linens, and up-to-the minute bathrooms with all the amenities. Rooms have fireplaces and most have Jacuzzis to add to the pleasure of your visit. The work of local artists is shown throughout the inn. Within a short walking distance you find restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, and several coffee houses. Boaters will appreciate the inn’s 400-foot deepwater dock.

Directions: Traveling north or south on I-95, take exit 91 to the end of the ramp—turn right if traveling north and left if traveling south. Continue for ½ mile to North Main Street where you turn left for 1.6 miles to Route 1. Cross Route 1 to the first stop sign, turn left then right at the next stop sign, driving 6/10 mile to the inn.
