Karen's Review Of This Property:

This pretty little Victorian is suspended in a delicious time warp at the heart of historic Cambria with its galleries, shops, and restaurants. A gate in the picket fence opens to a brick walkway leading through the garden to the small porch and entry. Inside, the decor is refreshing, clean, light, and minimalist, with soft white walls and the warm patina of natural pine floors, and there’s a remarkable collection of photos and uncluttered memorabilia of all the house’s occupants. The five tasteful guestrooms have snug en suite shower rooms, queen size beds, fireplaces and hand made furniture. Request my favorite, the Garden Room. Sit out on your balcony and enjoy your own private access to the winding little paths of the garden. At the front of the inn, the Parlor Room, once used as a school classroom, is now a pretty bedroom with a bay window and bird’s-eye-maple furnishings. Rent the entire house for family re-unions, weddings or get togethers. Breakfast is set in the parlor and trays provided if you want to eat in your room. Enjoy a complimentary tasting of wines from small private vineyards at Fermentation, just across the road. Dine next door (we do) or walk to other good Cambria restaurants. Check in at the Shop Next Door, an excellent excuse to purchase some of Bruce’s well-chosen country-style furniture. Cambria with all its shops and restaurants is on your doorstep.
