Karen's Review Of This Property:
As an alternative to the bed and breakfasts near Cambria’s shops and galleries, the Blue Whale Inn offers guests more privacy plus the opportunity to stroll for miles along Moonstone Beach. Inside the inn, picture windows showcase expansive ocean views in the dining and common rooms. It is here that guests are served a delicious gourmet breakfast, cookies in the afternoon, with local wines and cheese and appetizers in the evening. Behind the main building are the guestrooms, buffered from the parking area by a border of flowers and opening at an angle to capture a distant ocean view. Know you deserve the best and request the Tuscany Suite with its two sided fireplace dividing the sitting room from the bedroom which, like the magnificent bathroom, enjoys ocean views. The large bedrooms all have country decor, light-pine furnishings, chintz and floral fabrics, and canopy beds. Each is well equipped with a fireplace, television, telephone, refrigerator, and a top-of-the-line bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Motels line the beach frontage but, without a doubt, the Blue Whale Inn is the best of the bunch. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful, extending a warm welcome to both their new and many returning guests.
