Karen's Review Of This Property:

Helmsley, a collection of stone houses grouped round a traditional market square, lies at the edge of the glorious North York Moors, an area of wild and magnificent scenery. Webs of narrow country lanes criss-cross vast stretches of heather-covered moorlands joining hamlets and villages nestled in snug green valleys. Just off the square, next to the church, lies the Feversham Arms, an interesting mix of old and new that is a luxurious destination in its own right. A country comfortable public lounge has the obligatory fireplace for those cooler, damper, north Yorkshire interludes; smartly modern dining room features local produce and “real food” menus and a cozy bar. The luxurious spa offers a complete range of treatments. As might be expected of a property that has been expanded over the last hundred years, rooms come in a variety of shapes and sizes, surrounding the central courtyard with its flagstone patio areas and heated outdoor swimming pool. The majority are very spacious, furnished on a contemporary theme and provided with all the luxuries expected by the savvy traveler. Locally manufactured “mouseman” furniture is juxtaposed with modern art. Leave your car in the spacious underground parking garage and allow yourself to be pampered.
