Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Felin Fach Griffin’s bright terra cotta exterior contrasts with the lush green Welsh countryside and immediately sparks your curiosity. Step inside and experience the refreshing simplicity and comfort of this one of a kind country pub cum restaurant. Upstairs the bedrooms are decorated simply, with soft-pastel-painted walls, white ceilings, and stripped wooden floors accented by an eclectic collection of antique furnishings and beds including some four-posters, goosedown pillows, Irish linens, and Welsh blankets. Modern bathrooms feature deep tubs to soak your bones after walking the surrounding hills. Downstairs, as befits the local pub, the public rooms are truly public. Flagstone floors, painted-stone walls, exposed wood beams, natural-slate-topped bars, and leather sofas round the fireplace all contribute to a very relaxed atmosphere. Food and drink and the enjoyment thereof are a major part of "the Griffin experience". Local ales and fine wines are available. Dinner is served by candlelight and breakfast enjoyed at a communal table in the Old Back Kitchen. Make your own toast, from excellent bread, on the cream-colored Aga. Go walking in the Brecon Beacons, fishing on the Wye and Usk and exploring southern Wales.
