Karen's Review Of This Property:
Situated behind high stone walls on a tree lined residential street, The Bath Priory dates back to 1835. A fine example of Gothic style architecture constructed of traditional honey-brown stone, it has been completely renovated and transformed into an award winning luxury hotel complete with Michelin starred dining, health club, spa and 4 acres of manicured grounds. The spaciously grand drawing room and library evoke visions of gracious country living, inviting soft furnishings, art bedecked walls, fresh cut flowers, gleaming brass and welcoming log fires. The guest rooms are sumptuously appointed, lavishly decorated with antiques and collectibles. Sparklingly modern bathrooms are outfitted with all the creature comforts expected by the sophisticated traveller. Menus are influenced by British and European cuisine, accented by the inventive use of organic produce from the kitchen gardens. A gymnasium and heated outdoor pool are available to work off those extra calories. For the less active there is The Garden Spa and Beauty Retreat with its sauna, steam room, treatments, manicures and massages. Guests can walk via Victoria Park and the Royal Crescent into the city center.
