Two miles from the hustle and bustle of Broadway is the pretty, small village of Buckland where, adjacent to the village church, sits Buckland Manor surrounded by acres of gorgeous gardens. Wisteria hugs the walls, blowzy roses fill the flowerbeds, and a rushing stream tumbles beside the woodland walk. The exterior sets the tone for an interior where everything is decorated to perfection. Add masses of flowers and enviable antiques and you have the perfect country house hotel. Relax and enjoy a drink before the huge fireplace in the richly paneled lounge, curl up with a book in the sunny morning room, and relish the sense of occasion in the refined dining room. Bedrooms are elegant and every attention has been paid to every luxurious detail—some have wood-burning fireplaces and four-poster beds. From the moment you are greeted at reception, you will be enveloped in the atmosphere of hushed gentility that pervades this most gracious Cotswold manor.
