Knightsbridge Green Hotel Sketch

Karen's Review Of This Property:

Close to shopping and Hyde Park and just a few yards from the Knightsbridge tube station, the Knightsbridge Green stands out as a reasonably priced hotel with a wonderfully friendly staff and a superb location. Its unobtrusive front door is almost lost on the busy street front. It is located in a tall, narrow building where an old-fashioned lift takes you up from the street-level lobby to the six floors of air conditioned bedrooms. Double glazing effectively eliminates any traffic noise from the bustling street below. Rooms are spacious and suites have separate sitting rooms, some with a sofa bed, ideal for traveling families. The decor is sunny, with pastel-washed walls and pretty fabrics, bathrooms are nicely appointed in glass and marble with all the expected amenities. English, continental, or express breakfasts are prepared in the on-site kitchen with provisions from the food halls at Harrods (just around the corner) and served to order in the rooms. Complimentary coffee and tea are available on request. For a small extra charge guests have the use of a nearby health club with fully-equipped gymnasium and swimming pool. Broadband web access is available in the lobby. This is a very popular hotel, so it is advisable to book well ahead. Nearest Underground: Knightsbridge.

Staff overall were excellent, very friendly and helpful. They had good suggestions for local restaurants that were kid friendly and helped with site seeing and traveling recommendations. They did a great job coordinating travel to airport and stored our baggage while we were out. The location is very convenient, three minutes from Harrods and the same to the Knightsbridge picadilly tube stop.
First caution there is a major construction site across the street so be sure to ask for your room away from that side (we didnt know about it and suffered). I heard one guest say that his room was very quiet and couldn't hear any construction! We had a "three" bedroom suite for myself and my two young sons (9&11). The room had two single beds and a pull out sofa for the third bed in a separate room. The pull out sofa was the worst bed i have ever slept on and would not recommend to anyone.
