If you are looking for a small, deluxe hotel in a prime location that is very secluded, yet just a few minutes’ walk to shops and restaurants, the Hotel Secreto is a superb choice. We fell in love with this tiny, privately owned and managed hotel whose motto is ’Intimate, Elegant, and Tranquil’ describing perfectly what makes the Secreto special. However, the hotel has much more to offer: a powdery white beach, a spa, lovely furnishings, stunning views, quality linens, nice bathrooms, exceptionally friendly service, top-notch quality throughout, rooms that all open to the sea, and a great swimming pool. The hotel exterior makes an architectural statement with its white walls, tall narrow windows, and accents of towering palm trees. As you step inside, the contemporary, fresh look continues with an uncluttered, soothing decor—the walls are all painted white, most of the upholstery on chairs and lounges is white, and the furniture of light wood. The dazzling white color scheme is the ideal background for the views of the turquoise sea, lovely gardens, and swimming pool. Splashes of color appear in bouquets of flowers and colorful paintings on the walls. The hotel, which is constantly upgrading, closed in the summer of 2005 to reopen in time for Christmas, with new gifts for its loyal guests: a new restaurant, more deluxe rooms, and a spa.
