Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Villa Carolina, a well-designed, family-owned, all-suite, small luxury hotel, is located on the hillside above Zihuatanejo’s most popular beach, Playa La Ropa. Guests use a special exit from the hotel to walk down the road that leads to this superb beach. The architecture creates a sense of space in the seven sienna-colored, thatched-roofed, split-level, fully-equipped suites. Each suite has a king-size bed and a sitting area where you can catch the local news on CNN, enjoy a video from the office selection, or listen to music on the cassette player. All the tastefully decorated rooms have high ceilings, fans, and air conditioning; along with full marble bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchens, and safe-deposit boxes. Each master suite has a partial ocean view, separate bedroom with terrace, dining area with kitchen, private Jacuzzi, dining area, a hammock, lots of sea breeze, and ample space to move around. The garden suites, located in front of the swimming pool, are large and beautifully appointed. Guests can relax by the pool and, in the afternoon, enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a drink. Breakfast and lunch are offered from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. If you really want something really special, ask about the Grand Suite, a gorgeous, large suite crowning the top level of the hotel.
