Karen's Review Of This Property:
Crowning the top of a small hill near the enchanting walled village of Todi (which you can see in the distance), the Relais Todini has a breathtaking, 360-degree view of wooded hills, soft valleys, manicured fields, vineyards, and tiny villages. You will be captivated at first sight of this charming, 14th-century stone hotel with architectural roots going back to the Etruscan-Roman period. Although built of rustic, tan-colored stone, there is nothing rustic about this hotel. From the moment you walk through the manicured gardens and into the beautiful frescoed lobby, you are surrounded by elegance and luxury. You register at an intimate table rather than a hotel-like counter before being shown to your room. All the guestrooms are beautifully decorated and the suites are especially opulent, with fine antique furniture and lush fabrics. The public rooms are also handsomely furnished, particularly the dining room with its tall-back chairs upholstered in tapestry and charming chandeliers embellished with clusters of grapes. One wall has windows of glass that open out to a terrace and beyond to a large swimming pool. On the estate tennis, biking, walking, swimming and a gorgeous health and body center with Turkish baths are just a few of the options available to guests.
