Karen's Review Of This Property:

The Villa Rigacci is a picture-perfect example of a 15th-century Tuscan villa with its creamy-white stucco façade, thick walls, heavy red-tile roof, green-shuttered windows, and beautiful gardens. The Pierazzi family takes great care to see that all the guests receive their personal attention and are made to feel “at home.” In summer, after a day of sightseeing, guests relax in the back garden where a large pool, surrounded by lounge chairs and umbrellas, stretches out on a terraced lawn. Inside, handsome family antiques adorn the sitting rooms and library. The chef specializes in traditional Tuscan cuisine, and from October to March cooking courses are organized. The dining room is especially lovely, but in summer guests usually choose to enjoy their meals outside on the terrace. Each bedroom is individually decorated with very appealing country-style antiques accented by lovely fabrics—creating rooms that blend beautifully with the old-world ambiance of the villa. Although the surrounding area is not as pristinely rural as some parts of Tuscany, once you enter into the beautiful grounds (highlighted by cypress, pine, and olive trees) you enjoy a serene setting and accommodations with charm.
