Karen's Review Of This Property:
At Le Fontanelle it seems that wherever your eye wanders it is rewarded; from the impeccably decorated interiors, lush gardens and inviting terraced lawns looking on to picture-perfect Tuscan views. Spacious guestrooms of varying dimensions are dispersed about the large stone main building with front courtyard and annexes, all similarly appointed using crisp white linens, classic English and French fabrics, and traditional Tuscan furnishings. Most have either a private garden or terrace from which to absorb the beauty and stillness of this timeless landscape. Simple elegance characteristic of true Tuscan style prevails throughout the many common spaces and a sense of luxury is derived from the many thoughtful details, complimentary amenities, and attentive staff. Refined Tuscan cuisine is presented in the pristine dining room whose large panoramic windows replace the need for paintings and whose name, La Colonna, comes from the stone pillar conserved in the center of the room. Alternatives areas for meals are up at the swimming pool grill or the corner terrace outside the restaurant, appropriately name Belvedere for the magnificent vistas. To top it all off, a heated indoor pool, hydro-jet pool, sauna, steam room and spa treatments are all available for extra pampering.
