The recently refurbished Bernini Bristol is back in splendid form and part of the competing group of top accommodation in Rome. First and foremost it boasts one of the most spectacular rooftop restaurants in the city with a full 360-degree view. The original hotel façade dating to 1874 was radically transformed under the Mussolini regime while the interiors retain the ambiance of a grand hotel. At the foot of the Via Vento right in front of one of Bernini’s masterpieces, Triton’s fountain. This luxury hotel does not overlook a thing when it comes to guest service, regardless of size. Of course hospitality is nothing new to the Bocca family, proprietors of nine other grand hotels throughout Italy. The spacious open salon leading from the reception area with its austere architecture and squared-travertine pillars, has been softened with enormous antique hanging tapestries, comfortable armchairs, chandeliers and soft lighting. A wide variety of room types are offered, between either the new, minimalist modern look or the more classic style with contrasting brocaded draperies, and bedspreads, gilded mirrors, patterned carpeting, silk flock on walls and timeless Carrara marble bathrooms. Many of the suites on the upper floors enjoy the same stunning views as the restaurant. Among many services and features is a new spa, SINA Wellness Club, with a variety of treatments and services.
