The brochure of this stunning luxury hotel proudly proclaims “the most breathtaking view in the whole world” and indeed they may be right. With its seemingly precarious clifftop position one thousand feet above the turquoise sea, your vision captures the entire Bay of Naples including the tip of Sorrento, Mount Vesuvius, Ischia island and the rest of Capri below. You are off to a great start as you take in these views from the panoramic terrace bordering the spacious and luminous sitting rooms and bar of the main hall, from all bedrooms, or from the spectacular bi-level swimming pool. The Signorini family have personally overseen the complete renovation of the hotel including all the refined decorating details adding family antiques and artwork. The 56 rooms with balconies or front gardens are dispersed about several floors of the main residence and a smaller guesthouse above the pool. Many suites and jr suites are available all with head-spinning views like the one with the whirlpool tub looking directly out to Sorrento. After a day of touring the island, drinks await you poolside, served while watching another sunset sink into the sea. Dining on Mediterranean seafood at the Terrazzo di Lucollo facing the pool and lush garden is another divine experience not to be missed.
